The Price for knowledge
What is the price for knowledge? Almost everyone finds themselves asking this question, it always leaves a huge question mark imprinted on our minds.
When speaking of the price to pay for knowledge, it does not stop at paying to learn a skill or to obtain mastery in something, it goes way beyond that. The knowledge you gain is usually in inverse equivalent with the price you pay.
To break it down; if there are 100 pieces of knowledge to gain, and to gain a piece of knowledge you need to pay a price, unquestionably, to get all the pieces of knowledge you will need to pay 100 prices if you go ahead to pay 50 prices, you end up with just 50 pieces of knowledge
Inverse Equivalent/Harmony |
The word “Price” here, contextually, can be substituted for sacrifice, cost, rate, fee, etc.
Realistically, nobody sleeps and wakes up with knowledge, YES! Anyone can wake up with an idea, but the idea alone isn't the knowledge, but knowledge forms while excavating deeper into an idea/thought.
The Wright brothers who invented the airplane had an idea, and to utilize that idea they needed knowledge; according to research, the mechanical knowledge they accumulated was a result of working and studying for years in their bicycle, motors, and printing press workshop. Furthermore, it cost them about $1,000 as of 1900/1904 to construct the plane.
NB: The money spent on research was not included.
Now I presume the idea of the “PRICE” is getting clearer:
Everyone desires to possess knowledge but only a few are willing to pay the price, the sacrifices you need to make to build up knowledge are as vast as the sea but The goldfish in The sea is YOUR TIME because even if You decide to pay monetary value for learning if you don't take your time to study, explore and be consistent, you have just successfully squandered your money.
You must be prepared to pay the price for knowledge or you'll end up paying the price for your ignorance, and just so you know, the price you pay for ignorance is far more tremendous than the price you pay to get knowledge.
You should sacrifice today for your tomorrow, Sacrifice/Price and Knowledge are two sides of the same coin, you can't have just the head or the tail, You either have the whole coin or have nothing.
In pursuit of knowledge, many have lost friends, acquaintances, and other things/relationships. Nevertheless, people are not destroyed for lack of money or friends but for lack of vision and lack of knowledge. Understand and acknowledge that you will have to deny yourself of some things to accomplish your goals. As long as you're willing to pay the price, no matter how high it is, in the long run, you will be surprised by what you get in exchange.
In conclusion
The price for knowledge is literally your LIFE!
Time is your Life.
Pay the PRICE!
To know is to be free, but to know is not free.
