When you ask people what they think the way to success is, you will listen to some mention connections, while others money, and other frivolous things that should not even be at the top of their bucket list when it comes to building a business, your brand, your trade or whatever personal entrepreneurship or work you take part in.
Now don’t get me wrong it’s not that these fortes are not significant, of course, they are, let’s not even start talking about the perks of having connections and money. One thing you need to take note of as an average human being is that connections do not fall from the sky! Connections are earned, money is earned, and when these become the top of your bucket list when asked what you think the way to success is in your career path, they become insignificant because everything is on a hierarchy and connections do not rank as number 1.
Let’s talk about a few methods that have proven to be considerably empirical over time, as long as you set your priorities right, and no matter how long it takes, you can never go wrong with these approaches.
1. Passion:
Doing what you love to do, not because everyone else is doing it, or because everyone else is thriving by doing it but because you’ve accessed yourself and you know that good this is where my strengths lie, this is where I will show more vigor, etc.
Presently, people are trying hard not to think for themselves, they just want to take someone else’s way out, your friend has made a ton from being a crypto trader, so you hop in for a long unknown ride, or your mate just hit the jackpot with his delivery business after putting in work for years, then you think delivery business is the right thing for you to do too.
People who don’t have passion for their work, often end up being career prostitutes, you will find them everywhere, whereas they’re making it nowhere. Passion only comes when you like and enjoy what you do, or you have another goal apart from money in the picture. Though certain people still do whatever they do without passion and still make it happen, however, look deeper and you would find self-satisfaction missing in the picture.

2. Work hard/Push your limits:
I am not disputing the fact that smart work will take you places but even when you are working smart it takes “Work” and working is not an easy forte, it takes time, energy, a lot of thought, mind power, etc.
One mistake you should not make if you want to be successful at whatever you are doing is to wait around and expect to be spoon-fed, do your thing, put in the work, and push it.
Don’t limit yourself to stereotypes and negativity, believe you can, and don't just believe it, DO IT! How do you know you can’t, when you haven’t even tried?
Hard work will always get you to the top and even if it doesn’t, it will get you nearby.

3. Be Good/Creative:
No matter what, being good at what you do will open doors for you, even in places where there are no doors. Providing quality services to your consumers and when I mean consumers I mean people who are likely to buy into what you’re doing. Do not restrain yourself from thinking outside the box and don’t allow the anxiety of failure to get in your way. Today, people anticipate more than the ordinary so you need to be extraordinary, remarkable, and outstanding to get noticed and build strong relationships with your target market.
Whether you sell a product or service you must deliver the maximum experience, and even if you're not selling anything to anyone, still remember to be EXTRAordinary, nevertheless, you should understand that the EXTRA in extraordinary stands for the EXTRA MILE you go to evade being ordinary.
Doing what you do well and being commended for it, conveys a different type of cheerful feeling to the heart. You must constantly persist to innovate when it comes to being inventive remember to always keep Pushing P.
4. Be Focused/Persistent:
Focus requires the pursuit of a purpose and VISION, building anything takes time, like the quote “ Rome was not built in a day but started in a day”. Every journey begins with a step, it is not compulsory to start with long strides even baby steps will do quite alright, and even if you can't take any step, then CRAWL!
Sometimes you will feel the urge to give up, but what will keep you going is your passion, your vision, your goal, etc. Experiencing failures and setbacks is a given but trust me, you will also find success, triumph, and satisfaction.
